Today after breakfast you will have the following options for the day :
Option 1 : Total freedom . The opportunity to acclimatize, rest, or visit like a local and in complete freedom, which the next day's program does not include.
Option 2 : A little busy but not too much / Quito cable car , departure without delay for an altitude of 4100 m by cable car, just 15 minutes from the hotel. Taste the joys of touching the sky, enjoy an extraordinary view of the city, possibility of walking towards the Guagua Pichincha volcano .
Option 3 : Need adventure, without delay! Lakes region - visit to the village of Otavalo , as we departure for the Great Lakes region. Visit the village of Otavalo and Lake Cuicocha , located in the heart of a collapsed crater. Stop at the village of Cotacachi , time to enjoy the shops of this village specializing in leather working. Lunch included indigenous Andean called Pamba Mesa, with the possibility of tasting the famous Andean cuy , or guinea pig, festive meal of the indigenous people. Visit the village of Peguche and its sacred waterfall, then return to Quito.

Today after breakfast we depart for the historic center as we visit the largest colonial city center in South America, witness to the indigenous, colonial era, the inquisition and the so-called Republican era. Lunch included and cooking class in an old building in the historic center Lunch begins at the central market , where you will meet with your Chef. Discovery of flavors and purchase of ingredients, you then continue with him towards the kitchens of this beautiful building from the Republican (post-colonial) era , where your Ecuadorian cooking class will take place . Later we move towards the south of the city, following the famous Avenue des Volcans, named so by Alexander Vont Humboldt. You arrive at your Lodge, on the slopes of the Cotopaxi Volcano.
Later in the evening we return for dinner and overnight at the hotel. .

Today after breakfast we proceed for our visit to the national park and the volcano . As we reach the Cotopaxi National Park , visit the Limpiopungo lagoon , climb to the first refuge (by vehicle if time permits) . Lunch included in the Park, in the only restaurant - old refuge restaurant . Later in the afternoon, we depart for the South, continuing on the Ecuadorian Andes, to settle at the Abraspungo hacienda . Beautiful and peaceful traditional hacienda.Then in the evening we have dinner at the hacienda.

Today after breakfast we proceed to visit to what is recognized as the first Hispanic church in the country and discovery of vegetable ivory, Tagua . Continue to the Pitishi viewpoint if time permits, to admire and understand the Devil's Nose railway. A true engineering feat of the time. This is where the exchange of goods between the cultures of the Andes and those at sea level took place. Arrival at Ingapirca, a small village in the mountains next to the Inca site of Ingapirca. Lunch included near the archaeological site and guided tour of the site. Later evening dinner included in the Posada in Ingapirca

Option 1 : Visit to a Panama hat factory, originally from Ecuador. Belonging to a well-known family from Cuenca who opened their small store where they present a wide variety of hats. Afterwards, your guide will give you a tour of the city. You can appreciate the largest private collection of pre- Hispanic art in the country at the Museum of Aboriginal Cultures.
Option 2 : Free afternoon to enjoy this beautiful city of Spanish architecture, very pleasant and well organized for pedestrians. Your guide will remain at your disposal.

Today after breakfast we checkout of our hotel and proceeed by road towards Guayaquil. .On teh way we stop in the El Cajas National Park . Known fro its magical, wild, captivating landscapes . Later we continue to Hacienda Cacao y Mango to discover the cocoa plantation and its transformation into chocolate. Lunch will be in the plantation . Nest we continue our journey to Guayaquil . On arrrival we check into our hotel .

Today after breakfast we checkout of the hotel and proceed for a guided tourof the city as we visit the Malecon , the iguana park, the cathedral, Santa Ana hill and its lighthouse. After lunch we proceed to the Guayaquil airport for our international flight back home with memories of enchanting Ecuador .
Or before departing home , an extension to the Galapagos Islands would be a wise and an excellent suggestion .
The Boutique Hotel Los Balcones, jewel of the city's architecture and colonial heritage, is located in the heart of the historic center of Cuenca, 3 minutes from Calderón Park and 10 minutes from the main transport stations. The house dates back to the end of the 18th century and was the workshop of the famous visual artist Gaspar De Sangurima .
